Hello. Today I decided to share these extremely simple yet gorgeous nails with you. 🙂 This photo is over ten years old. This picture was taken on March 25th, 2013.
Ah yes, heavy emphasis on simple, as it was just a mere swatch. This is one of my favorite nail polish combos of all time!
This combination was China Glaze For Audrey (the blue) and Glistening Snow. Glistening Snow was used in the last manicure I posted, and if you read my previous post, you’d know that Glistenin Snow by China Glaze has been discontinued for quite some time now. So I linked Zoya’s Cosmo instead, which is nowhere a perfect match, but it’s something, haha. Don’t get me wrong, I like Zoya’s Cosmo, but it’s very different from Glistening Snow, which I also like a lot.

Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed your Easter! I definitely enjoyed mine. For the first time, I made lemon sugar cookies with lemon glaze. They came out so soft, fluffy, and super tasty. I’ll definitely do it again sometime in the future, haha. As much as I would have liked to have posted more for this special holiday, I’ve been very busy with many other things outside of this website, so I didn’t have the time to post at all. 🙁 🙂 But it’s all good. 🙂 Anyways, today as you can see by the title, I have my Easter Manicure from 2014 to share with you! I actually didn’t even do my nails for this Easter, crazy right? It wasn’t my intention, and I seriously forgot to do them. By the time I thought about it, it was too late, haha. I at least did everything else such as dress up and do my hair in a festive way, lol. I’m in the process of also working on another website that’s going to include recipes, and all sorts of things, so if you’re interested, or at least curious, make sure you stay tuned for that. 🙂 OK! I have rambled on more than enough! Time for the beautiful throwback manicure pics! ^_^
This is definitely one of my favorite manicures of all time, no doubt. It was quite time-consuming to do but was beyond worth it. For the index and pinky fingers, I used a black nail art pen to draw the lines and dots. On the middle finger, I just did a simple border with round rhinestones, alternating between blue and pink. For the ring finger, I used rectangular-shaped pink rhinestones and gold micro-beads. The base nail polish I used for the middle and ring fingers was China Glaze’s Glistening Snow, and the on the other fingers I used Wet n Wild’s Teal Slowly and See.
It’s sometimes difficult to find dupes for some of the discontinued nail polishes I used to use to use back then, but I try.
Products:
Zoya Cosmo (not what I used, but like I mentioned above, it’s tricky finding polishes exactly like the ones I’ve used for some manicures from so long ago): https://amzn.to/47Ixn1a Essie In The Cab-ana (similar to Wet n Wild Teal Slowly and See): https://amzn.to/3sQqIm5 Gold Micro-Beads: https://amzn.to/3SUrMAh

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for tuning in today! Tomorrow is Saint Patrick’s Day, so for today, I thought I’d share what I wore for Saint Patrick’s day in 2013, which I recall taking a decent amount of time to complete!
If I were to recreate this look, I’d do the water marble the same or very similar; however, for the rainbow, I’d outline it so it looks more defined, though I really like it without an outline too.
A lot of nail polishes were involved in the making of this manicure! Keep in mind, I did this over ten years ago, so a lot of what I used back then is no longer available. My goodness, if it wasn’t for me documenting a lot of these manicures, I wouldn’t have a clue as to what I used for certain things lol.
All of the nail polishes used for the grass-themed water marble: (on the index, middle & pinky fingers) were: Pop Beauty Raw (I used this for the base color and in the water marble), Milani Hi-Tech, China Glaze In The Limelight, Rimmel London Rags to Riches, Zoya Frida, Zoya Holly, & Orly Shine On Crazy Diamond. For the base of the ring & thumb fingers, I used a coat of Zoya Purity, one coat of Chick Nail Polish Hipster Chick, and a coat of Sinful Colors Smoking Hot for the base.
For the rainbows, I used: China Glaze In the Limelight, Hard Candy Splendid, Zoya Sooki, China Glaze Frostbite, Zoya Purity (the clouds), & Color Club Age Of Aquarius mixed with some of Zoya Purity and China Glaze Frostbite, & topped off this entire manicure with Wet n Wild Kaleidoscope.
I almost forgot to mention I used a dotting tool to create the rainbow and clouds. 🙂 Very easy, just a little time-consuming, but not too bad.
The brand Chick Nail Polish was an indie brand from many years ago and is no longer around. Hipster Chick is pretty much a lime green cream with silver holographic glitter scattered throughout it, so you could take Limestone by Sally Hansen:https://amzn.to/47ADzbv
and layer Shine On Crazy Diamond over it, and get an extremely similar look.
Hello everyone! With a few days left until Saint Patrick’s Day, I thought I’d share some green manicures with you all for the following days leading up to Saint Patrick’s Day. Today I have this very Spring-themed green water marble to display here.
I remember loving this lovely bright green water marble. I love how I used three different finishes for this; cream, scattered holographic, and linear holographic. All the different finishes and shades of green went very well together, and I do plan on recreating this again one day soon. But, for now, I still have a ton of older manicures that I need to post here first, so you may not see the recreation until next year!
As for the nail polishes that were used, all three have been discontinued. The three nail polishes used were: Nubar Reclaim, Milani Hi-tech, and Sinful Colors Open Seas. At this point, the best I can do is offer some alternatives, so that’s what will be linked down below, along with all of the types of supplies I typically use when creating a water marble design, as well as the top and base coat I used to use back during those days. 🙂
I apologize, but I couldn’t find anything similar to Reclaim by Nubar. I’d just replace it with any green holographic nail polish, honestly. As long as you have the other two that are similar, that one won’t be missing too much.

Hi there. Today I have a simple glitter gradient to share with you!
Pink and green is among my many favorite color combinations, so I love this a lot.
This is very simple to do. All you need is a sponge, a dark base, and a bright glitter nail polish to execute this look.
The dark I used was Dainty Digits Polish Suburban Blackout, the green glitter was Sugar Coated by Milani and the pink glitter is Sugar Burst, also by Milani. Dainty Digits was an indie nail polish brand that I believe has now rebranded with a new name. I just found out today that Milani apparently doesn’t make nail polishes anymore!! I seriously wonder why. I looked them up and saw that they still sell makeup, but just not nail polish. 🙁 That’s so unfortunate because I used to really like their nail polishes. Hopefully one day they’ll maybe start making nail polishes again because they were excellent at it.
I don’t have links to the specific nail polishes I used, because they’re all super old and no longer being made apparently. :/ As I said, you just need a dark base and bright-colored glitter.

Hello everyone! It’s crazy how today is the last day of February already! To end this month, I thought I’d share this very simple Chevron French Manicure with you. ♥ This was done over 10 years ago.
These photos were taken on 10/04/2012. Wow, it’s a bit hard for me to believe it was so long ago!
The base of this manicure was Sally Hansen’s Platinum, the Chevron-shaped French tips were painted on with Sally Hansen’s Black Out, and lastly, I layered Sinful Colors Opal Glitter over the entire nails. The Extreme Wear line by Sally Hansen always had nice flat and wide brushes, so it made it easy to just use their brush to paint Chevron French tips.
I have plenty more French manicures to eventually share on here, so be sure to stay tuned for those! Some are extremely unconventional and very interesting, to say the least, haha.
Couldn’t find Sinful Colors Opal Glitter, I’m assuming it’s probably discontinued. 🙁 At the moment I’m not sure of any other nail polishes that look precisely like it, but here’s one that I’ve used multiple times in the past as well, that’s a bit similar: Sally Hansen Disco Ball: https://amzn.to/46lW8hW

Well, that concludes all the details! As always, thanks for tuning in. 🙂
Hello everyone! I’ve got a winter-themed design from 2015 to share with you today.
A super simple design for the winter season. I used Zoya’s Tove for the gray base, Zoya’s Purity for the snow, and black acrylic paint for the trees. I used a sponge to create the snow on the ground in the background and used a dotting tool for the snowflakes. Lastly, the trees were hand painted using a striping brush. As I said, super simple and easy to do!

Hello! How are you all doing today? I’m doing well, and I genuinely hope you are too! As you can tell by the title, today I have my Valentine’s Day Manicure from 2013! This year will mark the 10th anniversary of when I created this. 🙂
I remember this manicure taking forever to finish because I had to draw each design for each nail in the water and dip 10 times, one for each nail.
I used Wet n Wild’s Private Viewing and Zoya’s storm for this water marble. As always, everything that was used, and even some current favorites will be linked down below: for your convenience.

Hi, there! Today, I’ve got a super throwback manicure to share!
As you can see, these photos were taken back during my earlier days of not only doing nail art but taking photos of my nail art, so they’re not the best quality, however, I do feel like that’s what makes looking back at these so nostalgic for me. 🙂 It goes to show that I’ve come pretty far with not only my nail art but also my picture-taking skills, haha. Also, keep in mind, all of my earlier pictures from back then were taken on my Android 3 camera phone… so, yeah. 🙂
For this manicure, I used Nubar 2010 for the base, China Glaze Ruby Pumps for the French Tips, and Zoya Purity for the polka dots.
I painted on the French Tips using the brush that comes with the nail polish, and I used a dotting tool to place the dots over the French Tips. For a little extra cuteness and sparkle, I also added a red heart-shaped rhinestone as a little accent to each nail.

Nubar’s 2010 was a pretty rare and difficult-to-find polish at the time of my first purchasing it 12 years ago in 2011… so uh yeah… I seriously don’t have a link for that one. China Glaze Ruby Pumps: https://amzn.to/40KUntA Zoya Purity: https://amzn.to/40HhJAn
I thought I’d be able to easily find some red heart-shaped rhinestones, but it turns out that I couldn’t find any the same size I used. The size I used was around 2mm, and all the ones I was finding were 3 mm and above, which I feel is a bit too large for this type of manicure.; however, if you want to use some that huge, here’s the link to some I found: https://ebay.us/tXfD69

Hello everyone. I’m back today with another manicure from many years ago, that I actually didn’t even originally create for Valentine’s Day, haha.
This manicure was done sometime in early September of 2013, so it’s almost 10 years old!
To execute the watercolor technique, I used Sally Hansen’s Right Said Red as the base, white acrylic paint for the watercolor design, and I used Sally Hansen’s Sparkling Rose on various random parts of every nail for some extra sparkle.
To create the watercolor spots, I used a striper brush, acrylic paint, and water; I would dot a very small dot of the acrylic paint on the nail using the brush, then I would dip the brush in water and spread it as far as I wanted the watercolor spot to go. Using the same brush I placed spots of Sparkling Rose over various parts of each nail.
Although this manicure was created around Fall time, I think it’s very Valentine’s Day-appropriate, and it looks like it could have been created specifically for the holiday! I like these quite a bit
