Green Water Marble Design; 2012

Hello everyone! With a few days left until Saint Patrick’s Day, I thought I’d share some green manicures with you all for the following days leading up to Saint Patrick’s Day. Today I have this very Spring-themed green water marble to display here.

The holographic Spring green water marble.

Can you see the yellow dandelion faintly in the background?

I love the sparkle.

Not the best photo, but you can still see the sparkle ♥

I remember loving this lovely bright green water marble. I love how I used three different finishes for this; cream, scattered holographic, and linear holographic. All the different finishes and shades of green went very well together, and I do plan on recreating this again one day soon. But, for now, I still have a ton of older manicures that I need to post here first, so you may not see the recreation until next year!

As for the nail polishes that were used, all three have been discontinued. The three nail polishes used were: Nubar Reclaim, Milani Hi-tech, and Sinful Colors Open Seas. At this point, the best I can do is offer some alternatives, so that’s what will be linked down below, along with all of the types of supplies I typically use when creating a water marble design, as well as the top and base coat I used to use back during those days. 🙂

Links to nail polishes:

Morgan Taylor Sea Foam (pretty similar to the green cream I used): https://amzn.to/40Nl0xR

Color Club Kismet (replacement for Milani hi-tech): https://amzn.to/49UQaYy

I apologize, but I couldn’t find anything similar to Reclaim by Nubar. I’d just replace it with any green holographic nail polish, honestly. As long as you have the other two that are similar, that one won’t be missing too much.

The main types of water marble supplies I use 🙂

Toothpicks (to draw the water marble designs in the water) https://amzn.to/47FEeHV

The type of cups I used for water marbles (just about any type of thick paper cup would do):https://amzn.to/40KPi4o

Tape + Dispenser (for making clean up easier): https://amzn.to/3MQIVa3
Cotton Swabs: https://amzn.to/49LFefs
The nail polish remover I use: (my favorite nail polish remover of all time): https://amzn.to/3R42uxZ
Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat (I exclusively used this as a base coat only; it wasn’t a good top coat at all.): https://amzn.to/3QMjKXt
INM Out The Door Super Fast Drying Top Coat (the top coat I used back then): https://amzn.to/3Gag6BL
